Abstract
Based on the theoretical treatment in which the finite conductivity and nonzero thickness of a metallic patch in frequency selective surfaces (FSS) are taken into account, the transmission matrix and transmission line network equivalent circuits of FSS are established. Any layered structures cascading with FSS can be analysed by the reported circuit theory
