  • Abstract
Reference panel has to be used in the circumstances of measuring the reflectance of ground object by field spectroradiometer. The reference panel is normally regarded as reference standard during the process of field spectrometry. Its stability directly affects the accuracy of target ground object reflectance, affects the precision of sensor radiometric calibration, and then affects the accuracy of ground object parameter retrieval. Reference panel is a kind of material with relatively stable reflectance, and its reflectance remains stable for certain range of wavelengths. During the process of synchronous or quasi synchronous measurement outdoor, because of long-term using of reference panel in the field, its uniform reflective characteristics has been degraded unavoidable due to some inner and outer reasons to some extent. On these occasions, it becomes vitally necessary to detect the reflective characteristics of degraded reference panel timely. This paper focuses on the degradation degree of the reference panel long-term used in the field and its effect on measurement precision through corresponding experiments.
