Abstract
Distributed multitransmission is proposed for power-efficient and fault-tolerant multihop wireless sensor networks where a signal can be received and transmitted by multiple sensors. Multitransmission with scrambling has advantages of both space-spreading and diversity. Efficient and robust blind equalization algorithms are developed. Network power efficiency can be greatly enhanced. Fault-tolerance is studied under constraints of limited system resources.
