Abstract
This paper presents the interim results of the work of the joint ACM/AIS Task Force on Graduate IS Curricula. This Task Force was appointed in January 1998 with the charge of recommending a curriculum guideline for MS programs in Information Systems. The paper describes the initial design and the answers to frequently asked questions about the curriculum. The design of the curriculum is being discussed at a number of international meetings, including HICSS, to obtain input and feedback from the IS community prior to issuing a final set of recommendations.
