Abstract
A noncoherent PN code tracking loop with multi-user detection and multi-path interference cancellation (MPIC) for DS-CDMA is proposed in the paper. A de-correlator decision-feedback detector (DDFD) is first applied to an incoming signal. MPIC is then adopted to diminish the effect of multi-path interference. Finally, a modified code tracking loop is employed for PN code tracking. Mathematical expressions and numerical results of S-curve demonstrate that the proposed tracking loop substantially outperforms traditional schemes.
