Abstract
This paper describes the results of an on-going investigation into controller design for the rejection of atmospheric turbulence. The gust disturbance is considered as an extra input to the well-known H∞ mixed sensitivity design formulation. Results from the nonlinear simulations are presented, and these show significant improvement in the helicopters performance
