  • Abstract
Iterative calculation of scattering is done very efficiently when the field integral equations are in the form of convolutions, after a method of moments and fast-Fourier transform algorithms are used. Similar calculations can be made when field equations mix convolution and correlation products in dealing with inhomogeneous cylindrical fluid targets buried in the lower half of a two-half-space fluid medium illuminated by compressional waves radiated by time-harmonic line sources placed in the upper half-space
