Abstract
This paper presents the design of a Q-Band helix-traveling wave tube (TWT). The simulation of electron gun, focusing magnetic system, the beam-wave interaction and a four-stage depressed collector is carried out and the results show that the design can satisfy the power goal of 200W and a 50% total efficiency.
