Abstract
Early in 1998 the Digital Television Group (DTG) recognised that while the great majority of digital terrestrial television (DTT) installations would be simple (“plug and play”), in some cases problems might be encountered. It therefore set up its Reception Task Group to investigate the kinds of problems that might be encountered, and to make recommendations as to how they could be overcome. This paper describes some of the findings and recommendations
