  • Abstract
    Spatiotemporal data storage and application is hot research issue in GIS. In this paper based on RD, it is analyzed that spatiotemporal changes and how spatiotemporal data storage in the relational model - tuple version. In order to satisfy temporal query, relation algebraic operations need to expand. Those mainly reflect on the adjusting time span of relations operational results. Firstly temporal predication tests to result tuple. Then according the type of relation operation determining how to adjust the tuple version - reservations, delete copy or recomputed effective time interval.
