  • Abstract
    A device for monitoring of healing process in tissue transplants is proposed. A method based on measurement of bioimpedance of a tissue under examination at least at two different frequencies. Due to limits in available processing power and/or energy resources in wearable electronics, a sinusoidal excitation and conventional discrete Fourier based algorithms are not satisfyingly efficient. By replacing analog synchronous demodulation with its sampling equivalent and using of modified square wave excitation, an energy efficient and fast signal processing can be implemented.
