Abstract
In this paper, the possibility of complete three dimensional shape reconstruction was investigated. For this, the photometric stereo using silhouette information was introduced. The idea of photometric stereo is to serially vary the direction of incident illumination on the state of the view point, but it can locally reconstruct only the front surface to a view point. The complete 3-D shape could be reconstructed using the shading informations of front surface and behind surface to view points and its silhouettes. In experiment, the 3-D reconstructed result of bone using the proposed method is represented and discussed
