ICCES´2012 is the eighth scientific gathering organized by the Computer Engineering and Systems Department at the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University. Welcoming you among us is the summit of twelve months of challenging preparations. Talking numbers, hundred twenty three (123) papers from twelve (12) countries were submitted, out of them hundred and twelve papers (112) were accepted for refereeing. It is noticed that due to the current political situation the number of papers submitted from outside Egypt, as compared to ICCES´2010, went down from 37 papers to 16 papers. Based on the reviewers´ decisions, fifty seven (57) papers were nonfinally accepted, which is 50.9% of the refereed papers. Finally, forty five (45) papers from six (6) countries are to come under light through ten (10) sessions that cover eight (8) topics. Our top gratitude and appreciation go to eighty seven (87) reviewers from thirty (30) countries.
