Abstract
This research focuses on the task of describing and segmenting an image using new textural features. The application of the method shows its ability to characterise different landscapes on remote sensing images. The authors show the usefulness of the method on a simple synthetic image, finally they show how to apply it on remote sensing images (grey-level images and classified images). The result is a globally consistent interpretation of the image.
