  • Abstract
    Considering the complexity of mathematic model, vast amount of calculation, and poor interactivity of group models in virtual scene, we design an approach to construct intelligent characters in virtual environments based on the group´s characteristics. Every character is encapsulated as an agent model that is a combination of the geometric model of describing characters´ spatial characteristics, the behavior model with reasoning function, and action library. The example is illustrated that this approach can dynamically represent character model more efficient, autonomous, and intelligent.
