Abstract
In this paper, we introduce the DD-STAR project and explain how a data mining service can be offered as an effective way to discover knowledge that is essential to self-healing infrastructure design and optimization. One of the central issues in proactive problem prediction, avoidance, and diagnosis is to model the infrastructure dynamics based on historical monitoring data, and then apply the models to construct self-management self-healing rules.
