Abstract
We present a bandwidth-adjustable dynamic grating in erbium-doped fiber (EDF) with the technique of synthesis of optical coherence function (SOCF). An optical filter with arbitrary center frequency and arbitrary bandwidth proved to be realizable with the dynamic grating in EDF by the technique of SOCF.
