  • Abstract
Phased array antennas have a basic problem when it comes to providing broad instantaneous bandwidth. Three techniques are suggested here for increasing the instantaneous bandwidth of the array: (1) discrete time delay, (2) beam broadening, and (3) a combination of (1) and (2).<>
