Abstract
The improved circuit theory (ICT) method derives a circuit equation for the stationary property of the input impedance of multielement antennas using an extended variational technique. The CPU time of the ICT algorithm is further optimised by deriving simpler but accurate functions to replace the most inefficient parts of the algorithm. The original and modified ICT algorithm, and a method of moments algorithm are used to analyse the same system of antennas to validate the proposed modified ICT algorithm.<>
