  • Abstract
    Modern epoxy encapsulation systems can be applied in such a way to virtually water-proof a random wound system. These systems have features that can be applied in machining, wet and high humidity environments extending machine winding life. In this paper we will discuss the application of the process and features of the system including moisture resistance and thermal capabilities.
