  • Abstract
The paper is drawn from a 2-year study of black liquor concentration conditions by ultrafiltration ceramic membrane technology, and obtaining excellent fuel for coal burning boiler of electric power plant. The experiment implies that solids in black liquor can be concentrated up to 4-6 times then before under conditions of adding flocculants concentration is 4.0-4.5mg/L and filtration pressure is 0.12MPa, and the concentrated solids concentration is above 55%. The technology has lower consumption of energy, steam and simpler process; concentrated black liquor can replace part of standard coal of boiler of electric power plant.
