  • Abstract
The peculiarities of modern AI development related to the creation of integrated and synergetic approaches to AI are discussed, two examples of existing integrated AI architectures are given. Some basic definitions and concepts in the field of both theoretical and applied semiotics are considered. The possibilities of using evolutionary modeling and, more generally, artificial life principles and methods in semiotic systems are revealed. A new synergetic concept in AI-evolutionary semiotics-is suggested. It enables to bridge a historical gap between semiotic and evolutionary with dynamic environment and introducing emergence properties into semiotic systems. In the context of theoretical issues, the analysis of different types of semiosis organizations leading to various modifications of relationships in Frege´s triangle (1949), and hence to different semiotics is given. A possible scheme of using evolutionary models in applied semiotics, and specifically, facing argumentation problems with the aid of genetic algorithms is sketched
