Abstract
This paper provides an overview of the DEMO III experimental unmanned vehicle (XUV) autonomous mobility system. The DEMO III XUV program goals, and the vehicles capabilities are discussed. The system requirements for the autonomous mobility system are discussed. The base line approach to the autonomous mobility system is then described. The Demo III program has three demonstrations required, each demonstration will show more the capability. The planned autonomous capability for each demonstration is discussed
