  • Abstract
The technology exists to reduce the threats to sensitive keying materials by maintaining those materials in an unclassified format until they are actually inserted in the target equipment. This reduces the HUMINT threats and overcomes some of those shortcomings discovered during various operations where multi-service task forces have entered action without common cryptographic keying materials. The Tactical Net Server (TNS) can provide the ability to integrate a completely cold and disjointed start to a fully secured and interoperable task force
