Abstract
Power switching technology is mainly conducted with EMTP usually conducted in everywhere in the world, and a lot of experiment is conducted in the entire world in this stage. UHV project is studied in Japan because of the large demand of electric energy and one this kind of energy demand will occur in the densely populated area from large scale of transmission because of energy supply to the city center of populated area. We will discuss the AC transmission voltage for above 800kV and also discuss the feasibility of 500kV DC transmission. And solution of various problem will be discussed.
