Abstract
In this paper, an interconnection between two different simulators is proposed to establish and realize a vertical coupling between network layer and link layer simulators. This investigation is done for two reasons. One is to find the effects of upper layers on the spectrum management, which is specified and implemented in the link layer, and the other one is to see the performance improvement of the network layer protocol by providing link layer info. Coupling is done and tested for a simple scenario and some data exchange results are shown in this paper.
