Abstract
In this paper, we have studied the magnetocaloric properties of some RNi (R=Ho, Er) compounds which have a non-collinear arrangement in their magnetic structure. The magnetocaloric effect (MCE) values have been calculated in terms of the isothermal entropy changes using the magnetization isotherms measured at temperatures around the transition temperatures of the above compounds.
