Abstract
This paper describes a novel DSP implementation of the 9.6 kbps MSK demodulator/decoder and presents the results of the computer simulation, laboratory bench tests and in-orbit evaluation and the conclusions from the comparison between coherent MSK and FSK under a real LEO small satellite communications conditions
