Abstract
This paper describes the results of studies of the physical properties of high-pressure xenon gas as sensitive medium for low energy (0.1-10 MeV) gamma-ray detectors: 1) the purification of xenon; 2) the electron mobility; 3) the intrinsic (or physical) energy resolution and; 4) the density dependence of the W-value and Fano-factor
