Third Generation Modelling of Wind Generated Surface Gravity Waves

This reports progress on the analysis of the surface wave data collected during the Canadian Atlantic Storm Program (CASP). A summary of third generation modelling is first presented with emphasis on physics to be illuminated by the CASP dataset. Secondly we describe progress in the analysis of the data. We particularly mention procedures used to separate windsea from swell and to calculate wind along the fetch in the offshore generation case for growing seas.
