Abstract
Nowadays the transmission capacity of the transmission line can not keep up with the increase of the increasing electricity demand in most cities in China. Hence in the paper the improvement on the current 110kV transmission lines in most cities in China is investigated. Firstly the possibility for using different new technique to reform the current 110kV transmission lines is investigated according to the safety rules. Then the economy cost and economic benefit for the reform of the 110kV transmission line is analyzed according to the economic evaluation system presented in the paper. Finally according to the economy cost and economic benefit, the choosing of the new technique is concluded, which offers the reference in the reform of current 110kV transmission lines in most large cities.
