  • Abstract
Summary form only given. A nanosecond pulsed optical parametric oscillator (OPO) based difference frequency generation (DFG) IR-laser source is implemented in a photoacoustic spectrometer for sensitive and selective trace gas analysis. Tuning ranges of 400-2000 nm fur the OPO and of 2.5-4.5 /spl mu/m using LiNbO/sub 3/ as non-linear medium for the DFG source are achieved with a linewidth of 0.25 cm/sup -1/ throughout the whole tuning range.
