Abstract
In a demonstration conducted by CECOM, USACOM, and the Proteus Program Office, a secure tactical ATM network was overlaid onto the subscriber equipment of the 2nd Armored Division (2AD) of III Corps, Fort Hood, TX, demonstrating the seamless flow of multimedia telecommunications services across global spans and multiple echelons, using the Army´s legacy communications systems. A secure commercial ATM network was also extended out to the battlefield to allow a reach-back capability to national-level intelligence and data for use and collaboration during the simulated Warfighter exercises
