  • Abstract
    VHDL-AMS provides a uniform modeling and simulation method for analog and mixed signal system. As the most general unit in analog circuit, the VHDL-AMS model of operational amplifier (OPAMP) can be divided into three parts: input level, middle level, and output level. This paper presents a complete and accurate OP AMP model after detailed analysis on its characteristics. The simulation results show the open-loop and closed loop frequency responses, output saturation, and the slew rate of operational amplifier are truly reflected by this model.
