  • Abstract
    A novel fragile watermarking scheme based on chaotic system for image authentication or tamper proofing is proposed. The watermarks generated by using pixel values as input values of a cap map chaotic system and a secrete key controls a set of parameters of the chaotic system used for the watermark generation. A quantization function is introduced to embed and detect watermarks. The proposed algorithm is blind and secure. Computer simulation results show that this method can effectively detect minor alteration in a watermarked image.
