  • Abstract
    We analyze and quantify the impact of RF nonlinearity in an optical link incorporating optical single sideband with carrier (OSSB+C) modulation for fiber-radio applications using our proposed linearization technique. The investigations are carried out analytically and generalized for a multi-carrier environment. The results indicate that the proposed linearization scheme is more tolerant to optical nonlinearity and eventually limited by RF front-end nonlinearity.
