  • Abstract
    We present high-speed 16 quadrature-amplitude-modulation (QAM) and differential quadrature-phase-shift keying (DQPSK) for over 100 Gb/s transmission. 12.5 Gbaud 16-QAM was demonstrated by an integrated LN modulator. This technology is scalable to 25 Gbaud. Polarization-division-muptiplexing (PDM) can be applied to QAM-based modulation by using digital coherent detection scheme.
