Abstract

INTELLECT is a full-feature platform for multimedia content development and deployment for diverse application areas, ranging from education and training to electronic commerce and remote consultation. It contains both a client-server multimedia distribution system as well as an authoring tool. INTELLECT is compatible with Web technology, with added capabilities such as multimedia streaming, synchronized multimedia presentation, scalable reliability, and adaptability to network-traffic conditions
