Abstract
This paper presents a formalization model and examples of its usage leveraging BPMN to capture differentiation of functional localization when designing business software supporting different countries and regions. The abstract model enables capturing variants of relevant functional elements impacted by localization, simplifying processes in influenced software development lifecycle phases.
