Abstract
In order to decrease the traffic jam, reduce the pollution, promote the fair society and save construction and maintain charge, green traffic, acted as traffic system, will be advantageous to improve the urban environment. Its destination is to propel the harmonious development between urban traffic and urban construction and to protect urban historical culture and traditional townscape. Urban public traffic is an important part in green traffic system. Its advantages are safe, quick, punctual, convenience and reliability compared with other traffic ways. The green traffic concept, acted as the core, conducts the traffic planning of ChanBa development area of Xi\´an, The space structure in planning is "urban vice center - public center of ChanBa development area -residential area - inhabitant", which makes the area own good physical basis to develop the green traffic. The area sets up " ring-type + chess board form " road network structure, the outside it contacts adopts rail traffic way, the traffic inside adopts public transiting, in addition, the bicycle, acted as private traffic way, is supplement, these satisfy the resident\´s traffic demand and supply meaning reference to urban public traffic.
