Abstract
Based on our previous work "Prototype of a Stereoscopic Vision System to Improve the Image Quality in Turbid Waters during Underwater Inspection" [1], this paper reports the first results from a reliable set up of the system. The idea is to set the bases towards a complete functionally system to be tested underwater, in real conditions. The transition to that goal and the incorporation of human brain capabilities in the equation is the purpose of this research.
