Abstract
The key objectives of this experiment were to integrate Internet commercial applications for videoconferencing in a distributed object-oriented architecture for telecom services, and to demonstrate the added value that this integration can give to the Internet applications in the context of distance education. TINA (Telecommunications Information Networking Architecture) is a software architecture for global telecommunication and information services. The TINA access and service session concepts are the enabling factor for integrating Internet service applications with other telecom services
