Abstract
The following paper focuses on generator end winding vibrations. Monitoring systems have been developed for measuring them however sensible methods for analysis have not been found yet. A reduced end winding model and modal analysis of it are further described. The resulting analytical modal representation of vibration is used to evaluate a method for interpolation the spatial end winding vibration. Finally an application of this method is demonstrated.
