Abstract
The outage probabilities of an M-branch maximal ratio combiner (MRC) in Nakagami fading considering multiple Nakagami (1960) interferers are analyzed. Closed form expressions are derived for coherent and non-coherent frequency shift keying (FSK) and phase shift keying (PSK). In this paper an exponential correlation model is assumed for the desired signals, and also that the fading parameter of the desired signals in each diversity branch is identical but the fading parameters of the interferers are arbitrary. The outage probabilities are obtained by supposing an interference-limited scenario and compared with additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN)
