  • Abstract
Usually, the composition of discontinuous stator PMLSM (DSPM-LSM) is a stator block (accelerator, re-accelerator, and decelerator) and the free-running section. However, in this system, if a secondary mover stops in the free-running section, restart cannot be performed. Then, arrangement of the newly proposed stator block arranges a stator to intermittence, and the mover and one stator always overlap it. This arrangement can always supply a thrust to the mover. The problem of this system needs to connect an inverter for every stator. For the reason, if a stator increases in number, an inverter will also increase and a system will become complicated. The system to propose reduces the number of an inverter, changes the output of an inverter using solid state relay (SSR), and drives each stator. This paper reports the section changing method of a stator block of DSPM-LSM.
