Abstract
Generally speaking, the slowly-happening and short distance transport of hazard materials in the atmosphere can be simulated very well with a dispersion model based on the computer technology. However, when a sudden-happening disaster, such as the Chernobyl disaster, had occurred, all the existed dispersion models in the world didn´t work well for it. In this paper, we show the recent progress on this field.
