Abstract
In this paper we study methodologies to calculate the Mobile WiMAX system´s actual throughput. A step by step description of deriving an algorithm to determine the maximum number of subscribers that each specific Mobile WiMAX Base Station may support in Various Conditions is provided. We improved the algorithm to optimize bandwidth utilization focusing in particular on the impact of Adaptive Modulation and Coding (AMC) and present an analytical study of WiMAX propagation channel by using Cost-231 Hata Model.
