  • Abstract
    In view of the shortage of numerical control(NC) teaching resources and some problems such as high cost and high risk of equipment in current NC training area, with the rapid development of virtual reality, computer network and human-computer interaction technology, a feasible programme of virtual NC simulation system based on browser/server(B/S) was brought forward. Firstly, the development platforms of virtual NC simulation system was expounded. The network hierarchy and architecture framework was built. Then focused on the research on model rendering and movement analysis of CNC machine tool, NC code compiler process, the event handling mechanism and real-time cutting simulation. Finally, a prototype system was realized through using 3Dmax, Virtools, JavaServer Pages etc.. The results show that this system is stable and good running.
