Abstract
The flight control maintenance diagnostic system (FCMDS) program is concerned with investigating maintenance diagnostic approaches that will enhance the performance of US Air Force organizational-level maintenance technicians. Two aspects of the FCMDS program are discussed, namely, a ground-based maintenance diagnostic system and an embedded diagnostic system
