  • Abstract
    This paper, based on the characteristics of wavelet functions and edge detection, gives a multi-wavelet transformation mixed multilevel algorithm which is fit for multi-focus image fusion and Canny edge detection. The algorithm can improve the quality of multi-focus image fusion and enhance the fusion efficiency. It selects different wavelet functions to transform the wavelet dissection image levels and chooses high frequent coefficients from wavelet transformation by using Canny edge detection. The laboratory result shows that both the efficiency and quality of the image fusion are improved.
